THE 'NOUVEAU PAUVRES' UNDER HER ADMINISTRATION

While President Gloria Arroyo and her family have now become millions of pesos and dollars richer, it is heart-breaking to know that 40% of Pinoys are now hungrier and poorer. New Poor is what they have become, or as the French aptly call them 'Nouveau Pauvres,' which simply means "people who have become newly impoverished."
